Poor Freddy

Brentlee is so devastated, her horse Freddy was stabbed in the thigh by one of our longhorn cows. She helped me take him to the vet, and they said he would be just fine with exercise and antibiotics. so that is what me and Brentlee had been doing for about a week. we had walked him one morning and put him away, that same night i get a phone call from Tyrell saying Freddy died. Poor Brentlee was so sad and wasn't sure what i was talking about and just insisted on seeing him. so i took her to see for herself what i was trying to explain. all she could say is "put him in trailer, Dr. will get him stand up." I just felt so bad for her, she loved him and was always so mad if anyone would ride him cuz that was her Freddy. It is hard and sad to see, but also i think it is a good life lesson. He went very peaceful, it looks like he had just laid down for a nap and passed on. Poor old Freddy we will miss you.

Brentlee's first time one Freddy and just loving every minute. You know Brentlee is enjoying every minute and loving it, just for the simple fact that she is giving the camera a smile in her own goofy way. for you that don't know her, she never smiles.

This is both Taylor and Brentlee barrel racing and loving there time on old lazy Freddy!
Jazlyn is growing so much and is into everything. It has been so much fun getting to know her little personality. She had been the most fussy kid i have had by far up until about two weeks ago that is. She got tubs put in her ears and O my that has made the world of difference. She is so happy and playful, instead of sitting on my lap and screaming when i leave the room. It has been so nice i am actually getting things done around the house. My poor little baby must have been is so much pain I'm so glad she no longer has that pressure and pain and she can be the happy little girl we have been waiting to see.

She loves to pull this face and say OOOOOOO. I just love her being happy.

This is the result of Grandma Tami making Jazlyn happy with liquorice.

and here is a picture of Aunt Jessi babysitting her with Oreo cookies. One thing is for sure Jazlyn loved every minute of it.

Happy Birthday Taylor

Happy Birthday Taylor and Dad. Wow my little girl is so grown up, i can't believe she is six years old. it was such a crazy day, but went very well. She had her intersquad that day. she had worked so hard to compete and done very well, taking second place. she was so excited and to share with everyone that was able to make it. My mom and Morgan, Dad and Virginia all was able to make it up and watch her compete. she thought that was so cool. She had such a great birthday and was so very pleased to share her birthday with her Grandpa, she thinks it is awesome that it is on the same day. As for myself i am so glad her competition is done. If you know me i was never into dance let alone anything girly, and so this has been a great challenge for me. I have learned so so much and am truly amazed at my six year old to be able to come up with her routine by herself because i have not a clue as to what she is suppose to be doing. I'm so PROUD of you Taylor way to go. Love you lots Kiddo

Taylor and her best friend Eva had there birthday party together just so it was more convenient for everyone. They both loved it, we made bracelets which they all seemed to love. I made the cake which was fun not professional by all means, but i enjoyed making it and the girls both were excited for the my little ponies.

Taylor was so excited she had gotten second place and was pleased with herself. I'm so glad she is not selfish and has very good sportsmanship. As Taylor was warming up Brentlee was trying to learn. it was cute.

Taylor wanted me to make her a flower cake for the family party we had for her, so this is what i came up with. it was fun and actually turned out to look like a flower. i was proud of myself. haha.

Easter Fun

My trip to Phoenix was great, except it went by way to fast. We had so much fun and lots of lack of sleep, but well worth every minute. We got there Wednesday night and was so excited to see my sister and her cute little family. My great-grandma and my aunts Mitizi and Jerilynn flew in the same day. My dad and Virginia drove and got there on Thursday. That night we had a great dinner and colored 5-dozen Easter eggs, yes 5-dozen.

It was safer for Brentlee to take her shirt off.
On Friday we all went to the Phoenix Zoo. The weather was perfect, just a little breeze to keep it cool so we didn't die of heat. The kids had so much fun seeing everything and i think there favorite part was ridding the little train. Me and Taylor found it funny that the first thing we happened to see at the Zoo was Watusi cattle which we have one of them at our ranch.

At the Zoo

Our Watusi (Juniper)

After the Zoo we went to a Easter Pagent at the Mesa Temple. It is a pagent kind of like the Mormon Miracle Pagent in Manti. It was Beautiful. Taylor had so many questions for everyone. She had thought that it was all real and not a play, so we had to explain. I just love to hear the thoughts my little ones have and the things they say.

The Easter bunny came early this year, which was so nice of him just so we could all spend it together. So saturday morning the kids woke up to a mess of candy and all there eggs hidden in the house. It was rainning outside so the Bunny hid our eggs inside, it was GREAT FUN.

When you have 5 dozen eggs you have to hid them where ever you can think so yes even in the bathroom. The girls thought that was so cool.

Brentlee gathered all the candy and could care less about the eggs. She is so funny.

Dad and Virginia had to head home after all the morning fun. Me, Ra'Shelle and Derek took the girls swiming and then went out to dinner that night. It was such a busy but fun day.

On Sunday we hung out and had the best Easter food ever. My family was great to watch my girls while i took a little nap. All of the fun had caught up to me and made my back weak, but just a power boost nap does great. So thank you for watching my crazy girls. After the girls asked a million times to go swiming, we loaded up and took them. They just loved every minute and kept everyone on there toes. I was so sad having to go home the next morning, it all went by so fast. i wasnt even gone yet and i was already missing my sister and her perfect little family. Thanks everyone i loved every second and miss you all so very much LOVE YA LOTS!

Bad News

So today was the day i went for my check up on my back and what a day it has been. First i woke up to snow if that wasn't enough to make the whole day bad. Of course i was running late like usual getting the girls ready and off to the babysitter. I was so so scatterbrained it was unreal, i guess being nervous with the Dr. visit, the snow packed roads and leaving my girls i was just nuts. Anyway so as you know i have been making myself sick about this Dr. appointment just hoping all looks well and that i can start doing more things. Well to make this story short, things didn't turn out that way. After looking at the X-Rays we found that one of the rods in my back is cracked and casing me pain when i bend and do certain things. For you that don't know i have two rods and eight screws holding me together. So we decided to give it three months and if the pain does not go away its back into surgery. So so frustrating, nobody was with me for the sad news so i was trying to hold it in and when i got in the car to go home i just let it all out, there is no way in hell i want to go through the pain, suffering, tears, frustration of not being able to do anything, not being able to take care of my kids, and the restless nights. the list could go on and on. Now please don't get me wrong I'm not trying to complain that is the last thing i want to do, i just needed to get it out. I try to be tough for my little family, i don't want them to worry so I'm telling you all this to get it off my chest. I have so many feeling going through my head, just wondering what i could have done different and when i would have cracked it nothing seems to come to mind and its driving me crazy. I'm so sorry for rambling on.

On a happier note, I'm leaving Wednesday to go see my sister in Phoenix :) Its going to be so good to see her and her cute little family. i miss her so much, it will be nice to get away and get my mind off things. I'm so excited.
Here is some pictures just because i though they were cute.
This is Taylor and Brentlee with one of the new babies a year ago, just after i had gotten home from the hospital. WOW they have grown up so fast.
My Jazzy is into everything and on the go 24-7. She is now eight months old and still has yet to sleep through the night, i could so use one good nights rest. But we still love her :)

Call me crazy

Call me crazy but this is just like Christmas! my first baby was born today and he is so dang cute. I just love my longhorn cattle they are so neat to be around. You never know what color your going to get and the calves are so small nothing like other cows its so much more exciting. I know you are thinking that I'm so dumb for telling you about it but I'm just so excited i couldn't help myself :) Now i cant wait for the rest to calve and my horses to foul, i love the Spring!

This is Josephine. The girls got her from Santa Claus and she has quite the personality. Taylor and Brentlee play with her all day in the house, up and down the hallway she chases the girls. She has been the best dog in the house and has been so so good with the girls. I just thought this was the funniest thing i have saw. I put a pop box on the porch so i could burn later and didn't think nothing of it. Tyrells parents came over and found poor Josie with the box stuck on her head. I must have not felt to bad for her to sit there and laugh and then get the camera to take pictures it was just so funny to me.

I have no idea where all the time goes. i get so frustrated with myself because i never seem to get things caught up. i stay home with my energetic kids and you would think being home with them i should be able to get something done, but not with me. everyday there is something new i need to do and it just keeps piling up. Maybe I'm just slower than others now with my back, but i never stop and still don't seem to get nothing accomplished, i truly hope I'm not the only one with this problem if so please let me know how to get ahead.

This was just so funny and cute. Brentlee found out that we are going to go swimming when we go see my sister in Phoenix in April, i guess she was ready to go now cuz she woke me up the other morning wearing three different swimming suits and said "weddy to go swimmin". It was so cute. she is so full of life and teases me giving me the run around all day long. Her favorite thing to do is hid my cell phone when I'm not looking. Her dad helped her with that one. I did finally find her most popular hiding place under her pillow. She is a STINKER.

Jazzy has grown so much this last week. she is into everything. her favorite is the dog dishes, i am never quite fast enough so it makes a mess. She got crawling down and decided she could sit up all in two days of each other. it is so hard watching my last baby grow up, but it has been fun watching her try to catch up with her sister to play.

There was finally a nice day to take the kids to the park. Rylee my niece came along for the fun. Brentlee and Rylee are only a month and a half apart and best friends when not fighting over something. HaHa. It is always so much fun to get them together, they run and give each other the biggest hug, it is so precious.

Thankful for Being here

So i have been having lots of different feelings going through my head and i am making my self sick. It is soon to be a year since i broke my back in a truck accident (wow time goes by so fast), and i have still yet to get the ok to ride a horse and it is starting to make me wonder if I'm ever going to be able to get back on my lonely pony. I shouldn't even think about it and just be grateful that i am still here and able to see my family grow, but i cant help but wonder if i will ever be able to do something without some kind of pain. I am so nervous to go back to the doctor in April just hoping things are looking good and healing great. Sometimes i just want to get my feelings out but i don't want Tyrell to see me cry or get depressed about it all. I try not to show my frustration and pain but sometimes it builds up and i just need to let it out. I hope one day i will be able to run with my girls and throw them in the air with no worry of hurting myself. Please don't get me wrong, i am so so thankful that i am here and able to do the things that i can do but sometimes i just get frustrated with myself that's all. I want everyone to know how much i appreciate my sister for being there for me when i am down and just need a shoulder. She has flew in from Phoenix twice just for me and to help me out, i could never thank her enough. You will never know how much she has helped me. She has been there for me from day one. There has been so many times that i have just wanted to give up but with her love, support, and her many prayers for me i have made i through the first and most difficult year. She truly amazes me with her kind words and spirit she is truly the best sister that anyone could ask for. 'Shelle I LOVE YOU and thanks a million for everything. I also want to thank my little family. Taylor is so amazing to me, she is only five and she helps me do things i could never imagine and she is always more than happy to help out. Tyrell is the best husband in the world and has tooken on so so much and has never complained once. I want everyone to know i am so grateful for every ones Love, and Prayers. I am going to try so hard not to complain about my stupid problems, it just helps to get them out of my mind i really don't have it that bad, it could always be worse. Thanks everyone for getting me through this year love lots mariah
